Love this cow!  She produced the awesome bull shown below.. 

This nice bull is out of Glacier Rebalas, a Buffalo Creek x Coppertop,  Glacier Red Angus bred female.  His sire, Lodge, is a son of Chateau out of a cow that was flushed, then sold into a breeding/flush program in South America.  He had a 95# birth weight  and has not been weaned yet.  Update at weaning/weighing.
UPDATE! All the calves were weaned 10.23.11.  This guy weighed 815 and he was born 3.11!!  Sorry we're keeping him.

Can you believe this nice bull calf is out of a heifer?  A birth weight of 96# and  no problems whatsoever calving.  All the weight is in his length.  His dam is Glacier, Buffalo Creek, Leachman bred  and his sire is Flame, a tremendous bull from the Milk Creek breeding program in Plevna MT.  His EPD weaning ratio was a whopping 113.  For Sale $2300

Here is the dam of the good bull calf above.. she is feminine, deep bodied and gentle.  And for a heifer to produce a huge bull calf and keep him going her first year is unbelievable

Tempe Masterette, filly by Royal Pagemaster

This gorgeous filly arrived on 5 April 2011 to our maiden mare Zips Pretty Shugar. The mare is an own daughter of Pretty Classy Zip and the Blue Hen mare Charge On Shugar. (Sugar Bars and Driftwood) What a cross.

The pups were born on 20 March 2011. They have had their first shots, are mostly weaned and ready to go to new homes. The mom, Shiner, is a double bred Griz--they are known for their fearless work ethic and smarts. The dad, Chavo, was used on the ranch last summer to gather and run cattle in the mountains. He is outstanding. He is currently in training with Ron Green of Spokane and will be going to stock dog shows and trials this May on the west coast. Chavo is now owned by Roger and Gaynor Edwards. We are going to lease one of Corinna Greenslade's good females of the 5H line.  She's a worker deluxe and should cross well with "Bub"  He's one of the pups in the picture with Marah, but now he's big, beautiful and working very well.  Bites both ends and easy to train.
